It felt really weird going to IISDC as a walk-in adj instead of actually participating. Oh well, went at around 1ish in Ateneo with Jonats and got lost since the venues had been changed. So, we were walking around the SEC building, confused, when alas, we see Jojo and Inna lost too! Infernez, the UPDS adjes all think alike. :))

We walked to the convening room in the Cervini Hall. It was strangely different walking in ADMU than in UP. It's so much cleaner, quieter and more orderly. Met up with others: Lester, Nicolo and Gabby in there. After a quick hello to The Gang and The Kids, we left to trip around Katips. Mercury Drug actually sells tongue depressors, and keeps their tampons in this locked glass cabinet. I wonder why. The ATM booth was hot and suffocating (--push the button?). Thank god for Starbucks and its airconditioning. As usual, we were the noisiest bunch in there. :P

I ♥ the Belgian Waffle with Strawberry Toppings of Starbucks. Yuuummmy.

Then, lo and behold, Theresa calls me to say *gasp* we were OG in the exhibition debate. And OG against all these ADMU teams at that! Kamusta namaaaan. Got freaked out for like, an hour, but thankfully Jojo, Jonats and Inna helped me with my speech in the bus.

Infernez to ADS, Gazebo Royale was *so* pretty! It looked like a prom venue, hahahah. And Hinzon's Catering was delicious. ***** and ****** even went back for seconds!:))

Alarming situation of the night: my phone got lost! Went to get food and when I got back, it wasn't there already. Got stressed like, the whole dinner. I was so frazzled: making my case, searching for my phone, talking to the STC kids in between bites of dinner. Until lo and behold! Jonats and Theresa admit to their prank.

MAJOR NOT.

Hmph. Wuuuh.

But oh well, keber. It's done.

Wuuuh, early morning tomorrow for IISDC Day 2. Euggh.

Woke up later than what I had hoped this morning. I thought I'd get to Ateneo by 8, but nooooo. I woke up at 9:30. And the first thing that popped into my mind was how Jonats was gonna kill me, because he made me promise to go there extra early with him so we could pep-talk our kids. But noooooo. When I texted him apologetically, he replies: "Ay, kakagising ko lang din!"

Wuuuuh!

Oh well, got there early enough for Round 1 but too late to be allocated by David "Mister" Ty. So, just stayed in Nicolo's room, until Jonats came. We went off and walked around looking for kids and peeking in matches. And infernez to you, Gabby, sumuka ng matter! On Germany: the East-West divide, glass industry and coal mines. Scintilla of evidence, much?? ;) ;)

Anyway, walked to Jollibee for lunch. Strangely, it doesn't feel as far as it did before when I was in HS. I think UP does that to you. My walking powers are so much stronger now, charot. :)) And infernez to Jonats, who jumped over this ridge-canal-thingymajiggy---"Wow, you're like a gazelle!" *ROFL*

Adjed two rounds today. They were... interesting. Let's just say that in the debate about giving IPs permanent copyrights to their arts, a team was arguing about this Bear Brand commercial. WHYYYYYY??? And in the debate about government limiting online gaming, there was a whole case about how we learn Math, Physics and English in online games.

Wuuuuuuuh. Enrollment tomorrow! Pilahan na ito! I hope it doesn't take too long. I wanna go to IISDC and cheer on my kids.

Wuuuh. I'm so tired. I can't wait for the break night party. Yaaaaaaay. :))

Eventful day all in all. Saw all the people I missed. Many realizations today, in all fairness. I've gotten over most of my hang-ups regarding... stuff. Ay. Wuuuuuh. Bahala na. :P
